Kushi will be the Industry top grosser: AM Ratnam

Kushi will stand as the biggest grosser of Telugu cinema in the long run, opined the Producer AM Ratnam. Talking to idlebrain.com, AM Rantam told that Kushi is breaking records in almost all the areas it is released. In Nizam, it is going to cross the highest record set by Nuvve Kavali. He is approached by buyers to sell Kushi for a staggering amount of 8 crores for Nizam territory. The earlier highest being Chiru's Mrigaraju for 5 crores. However, he did not reveal the first week and second week share collected by Kushi in the entire AP region. Right now he is busying producing 'Nayak' in Hindi with Anil Kapoor in the direction of Shankar. He will be producing a film titled 'Robo' in the combination of Kamal Hassan and Shankar in association with Pentamedia Graphics. He will also launch his son Jyoti Krishna (who gave story for Sneham Kosam) as a director in this year.

Nuvve Kavali celebrate silver jubilee

Nuvve Kavali, the silent sensation that hit the Telugu box-office with its might, has celebrated silver jubilee yesterday at Ramoji Film City. Released in 26 centers, this film celebrated 100 days in 45 centers and 225 days in 24 centers and in all the centers it is running for platinum jubilee. This function was presided by Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. The other prominent industry personalities that are participated in this function include Ramoji Rao, MS Reddy, D Rama Naidu and DVS Raju. DVS Raju opined that Nuvve Kavali has rewritten the history of Telugu cinema with its stupendous performance. Chiranjeevi confessed that he is becoming 'form' conscious after seeing youngsters like Tarun making their way to stardom with big bang! Nonetheless, everybody felt that the real credit for the film goes to Vijaya Bhaskar and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore.

Anjala Zhaveri with Srikanth

Srikanth, who is suffering with flops, is paired up with the biggie heroine Anjala Zhaveri for a film that is going to be produced by Aishwarya movies. VR Pratap, who directed Nag's Nuvvu Vastavani and NTR's Ninnu Choodalani is going to direct this film. Srikanth is acting in two films now. These are Manasista Raa and Kalasi Naduddam. Both these film sports Soundarya as heroine. Richa Sharma is acting as another heroine in Manasista Raa that is being directed by RR Shinde.
