Dum Dum Dum release on 24th of August
Madras Talkies, the home banner of Mani Ratnam, is planning to release the Telugu version of Tamil blockbuster Dum Dum Dum on 24th of the August. Madhavan and Jyotika play main leads in this film. Perumal, a deputy of Mani Ratnam, directs this film. Karthik Raja, a protégé and son of legend Ilayaraja give music. Ramjee, an assistant of PC Sreeram, has done the cinematography. Incidentally, Perumal is the first successful director, who graduated from Mani Ratnam's school. All other directors from Mani Ratnam's school failed to prove themselves in the past. Mani Ratnam provides screenplay and story. This fun and frolic love story is shot in village backdrop in the first half and Chennai in the second half. The audio of Telugu version was released by HMV and they have become very popular with Andhra crowds. Listen to songs here Nuvvu Naaku Nachav dubbing in progress Dubbing of Venky's Nuvvu Naaku Nachav is going on at Rama Naidu labs. Re-recording and DTS mixing would be done in the first week of August. Asha Saini and NJ lass Aarti Agrawal are paired up with Venky in this film. Koti has scored music for this music love story with a difference. Audio of this film is slated for release in the first week of August. There would be six songs in the album. Vijaya Bhaskar, who directed Swayam Varam and Nuvve Kavali in the past, is directing this film. Trivikram Srinivas is providing story and dialogues. Sravanti Ravi Kishore of Sravanti arts is producing this musical love story. Suresh productions is presenting this film. Nuvvu Naaku Nachav is slated for the release on 6th of September 2001, which turns out to be Thursday. Teja to direct Tammareddy's film
Teja, who directed Chitram and Family Circus, and directing 'Nuvvu Nenu' now has singed a film for the veteran producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja of Charita Chitra. Shooting of this film would start in September. The other details of cast and crew are being worked out. It was learnt that Krishna Vamsi was supposed to a project for Tammareddy Bharadwaja. It is not clear if that project is still on or Teja has replaced Krishna Vamsi. KC Sekhara Babu, the producer of Ramma Chilakamma, too joins the production of this film. |
