Mohan Babu 'Tappu chesi Pappu Koodu'
Mohan
Babu is always known for taking risks and making films with strange
combinations. This time, he has given a direction chance to A Kodandarami
Reddy. A Kodanda Rami Reddy has given great hits with all the top heroes
in the past. But, he joined the list of ignored directors in the wake
of changing trends. He recently directed the Kannada remake of 'Chiru
Navvuto' for C Aswini Dutt. Now Mr. A Kodandarami Reddy is roped in
to do a lighter vein based film 'Tappu Chesi Pappu Koodu' with Mohan
Babu as hero. Lagaan fame Gracy Singh is playing main heroine. Srikanth
is doing a character role. MM Keeravani is composing music for Mohan
Babu after a long gap. Padmabhushan J Yesudas is singing to Mohan Babu
after a considerable break. This film is also a remake of Malayalam
film. The regular shooting of this film would start in Mumbai on 1st
of February 2002. EVV Naresh in Suresh Productions film
D Rama Naidu is making 'Hai' with Aryan Rajesh, the elder son of EVV
Satya Narayana, as hero. EVV is directing this film. Now D Suresh Babu
has started a film 'Allari' with EVV's second son Naresh as hero. The
muhurat of this film was a low-key affair. Ravi Babu, the son of Chalapati
Rao, is directing this film. Ravi Babu acted a villain and small time
comedy artist in various films in the last five years. Ravi Babu completed
his diploma in direction in USA. This project has acquired craze as
sons of three famous Telugu film personalities, D Suresh Babu, Ravi
Babu and Naresh are involved in the project. This film would go on floors
on 24th of February 2002. D Suresh Babu was impressed with the ad films
made by Ravi Babu in the past and gave this offer to him. Padma Sri award for Mano Rama and Mani Ratnam
The
honorary awards for the successful citizens were announced on 26th of
this month on the eve of Republic day. Famous Indian Hollywood producer
Ismail Merchant and popular Malayalam singer J Yesu Das were conferred
with Padma Bhushan. Character artist Mano Rama, moviemaker Govind Nihlani
and genius director Mani Ratnam are conferred with 'Padmasri' award. |
