YVS Chowdary is jumping the bandwagon of directors turning producers. After Dasari, K Raghavendra Rao, Ram Gopal Varma, Krishna Vamsi, EVV, and Jayant Paranji, it's YVS Chowdary's turn to become a producer. YVS Chowdary has directed three films in the past namely 'Sri seetaramula kalyanam chootamu rarandi', 'seetaramaraju' and 'yuvaraju'. He entered Telugu film industry 17 years back in 1984. He established a banner called 'Bommarillu Vari' and going to make a film. It's going to be a love story between five couples. All these five couples belong to 4 generations and different age groups. Keeravani is going to compose music for this film. It will go on floors in December and finish shooting in March 2001. This film is slated for April 2001 release.

Talkie part of Usha Kiron movies film with Nag and Raveena Tandon is over. Special effects of this film are being made in 'Maya', the special effects section of Ramoji Film City. This film is getting ready for the release on 21st of December, according to the grapevine. Madekonda Murali Krishna, MS Raju and Shyam Reddy have announced earlier that they are going to release Narasimha Naidu(Balayya), Devi Putrudu(Venky) and Anji(Chiru) on 21st, 21st and 22nd of December respectively. As they four pillars of Telugu Industry (Chiru, Balayya, Nag and Venky) are crossing their swords for the supremacy over the Numero Uno throne of Telugu Cinema, it's going to be a real festival for the Telugu cinema lovers. Incidentally three films out of four are going to be special effects extravaganzas.
