Film Critics Association (APFCA) of Hyderabad - under the leadership
of Mr. L Babu Rao - met today (21st April 2003) to discuss the issue
of "18th April Jubilee Hills" at Press Club and took the
following resolutions.
1.
The entire episode is taken place at a private place for a private
function. If the same incident is happened during the shooting
of any film, it's a mistake from the other side.
2. The photographer and journalist - who were manhandled - were
not members of APFCA.
3. The photographer and journalist went to the private function
of Chiranjeevi without any invitation. The office of Chiranjeevi
informed the journalists and photographers in advance that they
are not inviting press for the function. In stead, the photographs
and matter of the function would be sent to the offices of media
(newspapers and magazines).
Hence,
APFCA passed a resolution to wait till APUWJ (Andhra Pradesh Union
of Working Journalists) takes a decision about the same, as APFCA
is an affiliated body of APUWJ.
