Rajamouli is pleased with the box office collections of Andhala Rakshasi. He's one of the producers of the film and this is also the first time he has produced a film. On the day of its release, he had posted on Twitter, "Despite mixed talk and not so +ve reviews andala rakshasi took a fantastic opening.expecting the same for sat and Sunday.monday will decide." After looking at the collections which the film registered on Monday, he revealed, "No significant drop in Monday mrng and noon shows..looks like andala rakshasi is holding fort..:) Weekend has been superb as expected." Hanu Raghavapudi directed the film and it stars newcomers Naveen, Rahul and Lavanya in lead roles. Radhan is the music director and Murali is the cinematographer.
