YVS Chowdhary’s Rey has become the first Telugu film to be shot in Caribbean Islands. While most Telugu films have been shot extensively in Europe, USA and South-East Asia, this is the first time a Telugu film is being shot in Caribbean Islands. Currently, the film unit is in Trinidad & Tobago, an island nation in Atlantic ocean and for the next ten days, the film will be extensively shot in some breathtaking locations in this country. After this, the film unit will head to New York and Las Vegas to finish the remaining part of the schedule before returning to India. Sai Dharam Tej, Saiyami Kher and Shraddha Das are playing the lead roles in this musical love story. Sources have told us that Sai Dharam Tej and Saiyami Kher will be seen as professional dancers and Shraddha Das is playing the role of a pop diva. YVS Chowdhary is also producing the film apart from directing it. Chakri is composing the music.
