An 18-year old Telugu youngster from New Jersey is short listed for Sekhar Kammula’s latest project ‘Happy Days’. Sekhar Kammula was impressed by his photographs. Sekhar sent him the character description and the youngster shot a video by enacting the role in it. After watching the video, Sekhar Kammula short listed this youngest. The entire selection process took place on internet over emails.

Sekhar Kammula is very much excited over the simple and effective style of doing casting over internet. He followed the following steps.

1. Applicants send photos and bio-d through email ( [email protected])
2. Sekhar sends scene papers and lines to the eligible candidates
3. The aspiring candidate enact the scene and upload the video.
4. Sekhar Kammula will shortlist after watching the video

The selected candidate will go through 2 weeks of acting workshop conduced by Sekhar Kammula. He/she should be available from 10 February to the end of April for the shooting of the film in Hyderabad.

Creative Director and Producer Sekhar Kammula of Anand and Godavari fame is back in news again. His ability to make Telugu films rich in life and emotions, with a unique combination of classical and contemporary styles makes the viewers yearn for his films.

Sekhar Kammula is on the lookout for fresh talent for this upcoming Telugu film, which is expected to start in the month of February and released under Amigos Creations Banner during the Summer of 2007.

The film demands an ENSEMBLE cast and the requirement is for MULTIPLE male and female lead artists between the age group of 18 and 23. Its a must try oppurtunity for the YOUNG and ENERGETIC guys and girls.

So, here is a chance for anybody aspiring to make a mark on the Silver screen.
The requirements go like this:

Mandatory Criteria:

• Should be in the age group of 18 to 23
• Should be highly energetic, adaptable and have a penchant for acting
• Should be completely dedicated for a period of 2-3 months, starting sometime around the month of January 2007.
• Should have distinctive looks - a special quality, style, funny, attractive etc.
• Strong work ethic

Apart from the above required qualities the following would be a nice addition:

• Ability do dance
• Ability to speak Telugu
