100 days function of SV Krishna Reddy's comedy flick Hungama was celebrated in unique way at Taj Krishna on the night of 7th August. Dasari Narayana Rao was invited as chief guest. The other guests of the occasion were D Rama Naidu, MS Raju, C AswiniDutt, G Adiseshagiri Rao, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Devi Vara Prasad, EVV Satyanarayana, Rajendra Prasad, Jagapati Babu, Srikanth, KC Sekhara Babu, Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy, C Kalyan, A Kodandarami Reddy, Gopinatha Reddy and Murali Krishnam Raju.

Dasari said, "Every director, every producer and every actor start their career with low budget films and go up the ladder as they attain success. I like small budget films. Small budget hits give stardom to small heroes by throwing them into big league. SV Krishna Reddy proved successful by introducing Ali and Venu Madhav as heroes through Yamaleela and Hungama respectively. SV Krishna Reddy is always known for clean entertainers that are meant for family crowds. He has the unique record of directing all U certificate films.

Director SV Krishna Reddy said, "I did not work under any director to learn the ropes. I started directing films without any prior experience. I was an Ekalavya Sishya of Dasari. He is my inspiration. He delivered huge successes through small budget films like Tatha Manavadu. Hungama is the first small budget film that ran for 100 days after percentage tax system was introduced by present government. Lawrence choreographed for a song written on Chiranjeevi in this film without expecting any monitory returns. That song has become a highlight in this film. I saw Venu Madhav in a cultural program in Ravindra Bharathi. I noticed spark in him and gave an opportunity in Sampradayam film. He proved him talent and reached this position with his hard work."

Hero Rajendra Prasad said, "The success of this film is a result of complete team work. This film proved that there is always demand and appreciation for well-made comedy flicks. SV Krishna Reddy delivered a hit film after going through turbulent career recently. I wish him many more hits in the near future."
