Audio of Sivaji's latest film 'Ammai Bagundi' with Meera Jasmine as heroine was released on 4th July 2004 in Hotel Taj Banjara. Producer Shyam Prasad Reddy and Ramoji Film City's General Manager Sharma were also invited as guests. Chief guest Nagarjuna Akkineni released the audio and gave the first cassette to music director Srilekha. Aditya music bought the audio rights of this film.

Nagarjuna commended the melodies in this album and assured that a good audio would guarantee good musical experience while watching the film. Lyrics writer Bhaskarabhatla also spoke on this occasion. Music director Srilekha said that this is her first album after she settled in Hyderabad. Bala Sekharan directed this Tamil remake. Sunitha anchored the event.
