Audio function of Anand was held at Hotel Viceroy Convention Hall on Saturday's evening (10th July). Veturi - great Telugu film lyricist of all the time - is invited as the chief guest. This film is being produced and directed by National awarding winning director Sekhar Kammula (Dollar Dreams fame). Raja and Kamalinee Mukherjee) play main leads in Anand (manchi coffee lanti cinema).

In an emotionally appealing genuine presentation, director Sekhar said that Anand film deals about small things in life that gives us tremendous satisfaction. He conceptualized this script 9 years back and had been waiting for the right producer. In this long journey he met with many ups and downs and finally decided to produce this film in association NFDC (National Film Development Corporation). This film is a commercial romantic comedy. Four years back he made a cross-over film titled 'Dollar dreams'.

Veteran lyricist Veturi penned all the lyrics for this film. He said that the teluguness in Telugu movies and music is dying over a period of time. Filmmakers like Sekhar Kammula are making earnest attempts bring it back. Veturi opined that 'Anand' is a good healthy film and films like these should become hit for Telugu film industry to attain some soul.

Music director Radha Krishnan has been practicing and teaching classical music for the past 10 years. He thanked Sekhar Kammula for giving debut opportunity and a chance to work with a lyricist like Veturi.

Actor Raja said that it is a lifetime opportunity for him to work for such a brilliant film like Anand. Debutant actress Kamalinee Mukherjee said that Anand film and music are beautiful. She hopes that this film would become a big commercial success.
