Producer Rambabu arranged a huge audio launch of Gopi film in his hometown Miryalaguda on the evening of 22 October. Over 50,000 people attended this function to make it success. K Raghavendra Rao released the audio and gave the first cassette to EVV. Other guests include Srikanth, Venu, Sivaji, Sai Kiran, Sai Kumar and Sharvanand.

NTR was supposed to attend the function as chief guest, but could not make it. Miryala Guda is the hometown of Venu Madhav. He got thundering applause in this function. A movie function is being held at this place after a gap of 25 years.

Speaking on the occasion EVV said, “Director Janardhan Maharshi is a very talented person. He worked with me for many films. I am sure that Gopi will run for 100 days. I am hoping to attend the 100 days function of the film at the same venue.”
