Music of Venkat Kuchipudi’s second film ‘John Appa Rao 40+’ was launched at a function arranged in Annapurna studios. This function was attended by Krishna Bhagwan, Simran, Venkat Kuchipudi, Jeeva, Ali, D Suresh Babu, Nallamalupu Bujji, Valluripally Ramesh, Srinivasa Reddy etc.

D Suresh Babu launched the audio. Krishna Bhagawan said that he never played the role of hero even on stage. He hoped that his debut as hero ‘John Appa Rao 40+’ will be a success.

Kiran Varanasi composed remix songs from old films for this film.
