AP state Minister for Transport Kanna Lakshmi Narayana today released the Audio of the film Kalachakram (starring Navneet Kaur and Brahmaji) at Prasad Labs preview Theatre, Hyderabad. The film is made on Amma Bhavani Creations banner. Guests and hosts who graced the occasion were Telugu Film Producers Council President Tammareddy Bharadwaja, heroine Navneet Kaur, Brahmaji, producers N. Govind and N. Anil, director Vikram, Kavita Patnaik (second lead heroine), senior actress Kavita, Raj Kumar (director of Chiru's debut film Punadhi Rallu), PC Reddy, Music director Bhupati Purna and others. The minister formally released the Audio CD and presented the first number to heroine Navneet Kaur. The songs were projected to the gathering. This is basically a suspense thriller wherein Navneet Kaur is projected as a ghost, going by a couple of song sequences.

Minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana said that it was a welcome sign that a number of small films are being made in the recent years. He appreciated the producers for their bold efforts to become filmmakers in Telugu industry. He wished them all the best.

Tammareddy Bharadwaja said: "These days, the producers are reluctant to do small budget films with lesser known artistes. It is because of various factors, that they are afraid that they would not be getting the returns. I appreciate producers for their venture, doing film though not with big stars but with salable artistes. One thing is important. Though we field big stars, it will be of no use when there is no strength in the story. I wish the Kalachakram unit all the best."

Guest (director) Raj Kumar said: "I always support the makers of small budget films. They are the real life givers to the industry. When I took the debut film of Chiranjeevi (Punadhi Rallu), it was a small budget film, but went to become a big hit and remained in the hearts of the audience. Today, Chiranjeevi is also going to play a vital role in state with various works for the people. I wish him best of luck. Similarly, I wish a small budget film like Kalachakram should become a blockbuster and this trend would bring more and more tangible results in Tollywood."

Brahmaji said: "Navneet Kaur is the hero and heroine as well. I just played a good role. I am thankful to choreographer Prema master, who made me dance in this film. I am confident that Kalachakram will be a hit movie."

Producers Govind and Anil said that the film would be releasing by month end. "It is going to entertain all sections of the audience."
