Zee Motion Pictures is entering in Telugu filmmaking with a film titled ‘Masth’. Masth is directed by SV Krishna Reddy. It has Sivaji, Siva Balaji and Anchal doing the main leads. Music launch of this film was held at Rama Naidu studios on the night of 7 January. Saregama music bought the audio rights.

T Sanjay Reddy – CEO of Zee Entertainments – said, “Masth is a clean comedy. One can identify the movie with the image Zee associated with.”

Line producer VRK Rao said, “Masth is a result of team spirit. We shot 3 songs in Bangkok for 15 days.”

Actor Sivaji said, “I am feeling happy to work with SV Krishna Reddy. SV Krishna Reddy came up with peppy and modern music for this film. Masth is a comedy entertainer. Suresh is becoming a producer with this film and I wish him all the best.”

Executive producer and actor Suresh said, “D Rama Naidu is my inspiration for becoming into production line. Masth is the first step from Zee in producing Telugu films. SV Krishna Reddy did a young film in the form of Masth with lot of youth elements. I would like to thank Achi Reddy and VRK Reddy for helping us out in production. Sivaji is the most prolific actor after Rajendra Prasad with nice comedy timing and ease. Anchal is a dedicated actress. Zee tied up with Saregama for promoting and distributing the music.”

Chandra Bose said that he did a fusion lyric in this film by mixing Telugu and English.

Singer Madhumita (Maha fame from Mantra) said, “I got an opportunity to sing songs in Telugu films after Mah. I did two songs in this film. I would like to thank SV Krishna Reddy for the opportunity. My sister Prateechi also sang a song in this album. She is also a part of Viva band.”
