Heavy crackers blast and electrifying music marked the Audio launch of Ready (DheniKaina), a Seenu Vytla film starring Ram and Genelia. The film made on Sravanti Movies banner is produced by Ravi Kishore with music by Devi Sri Prassad. Aditya Music is marketing the album. NTR, Vishnu, Tarun, Tamanna, Dr. D. Ramanaidu, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Paruchuri Brothers, Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, Harirama Jogaiah, B. Gopal, Dil Raju, MS Raju, Brahmanandam, Umesh Gupta and others graced the colorful event, flanked by the giant flex showing the lead pair in a romantic mood. A couple of impressive designs of Devi Sri Prasad wielding guitar were also displayed.

NTR released the audio cassette and presented the first number to Vishnu, while it was Dr. Ramanaidu who unveiled audio CD, with Tarun receiving the first album. Six songs in the album were played in bits one after the other, followed by the guests airing out their response.

Dr. Ramanaidu said: “There is no doubt the music has come out extraordinarily. I saw the performance of hero Ram in his debut film Devadas. I am confident that he would have surely given a rocking performance. I wish the entire team of Ready a great success.”

Paruchuri Gopalakrishna said: “Devi Sri Prasad has successfully incorporated western pattern of music into Telugu music. The music not only sounds youthful but highly energetic all through.”

Koti said: “I am in no doubt that the music will be super hit. Devi has given sensational music. I recently found his music for Jalsa to be outstanding, but his work for Ready stands one step above the latter.”

Hero Tarun said: “The combination of Sravanti Ravi Kishore, Devi Sri Prasad and Seetarama Sastry itself is terrific. I am ever fascinated by Seenu Vytla, who is known for his style and comedy in his films.”

Trivikram Srinivas said: “Working with Sravanti banner is like doing for my own production house. I hope Ram will be making it big with Ready. He really works hard and at the same time doesn’t care for results, be it success or failure.”

MS Raju simply finished his speech with a single liner: Nacchavura Devi. (I liked you Devi). Interestingly, Raju was seen giving a handshake to Devi Sri Prasad as and when a number from the album – Mere Sajan – was played.

Dil Raju said: “Certainly, both the music and film are going to be successful. I saw one of the songs and one could feel the ambience of a Hum Apke Hai Kaun in that. I heard with clarity the words of Dil and Raju in the lyric, which makes me, feel personally about it.”

Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao said: “The audio of Ready has all the elements to make itself into a big musical hit.”

Heroine Tamanna said: “I am lucky to be sharing the dais with such big personalities. Devi Sri Prasad has given wonderful music. I couldn’t resist tapping my foot for his scintillating music.”

The speech of Brahmanandam cheered one and all at the venue. “Mine is a very interesting character on the lines of the one in Dhee. The credit of inventing such a wonderful and hilarious character goes to Seenu Vytla. The effect of my role will have double the impact in Ready than Dhee. I find Ram is a hero without any inhibitions. He is very young, energetic and fiery hero. Coming to music, I don’t think I have a good judgment. I tell you this anecdote. Once I wore a special kind of dress and asked MS Narayana about his comment. With his back facing me, he said: Super. When I asked how he could say without looking at me, he quipped: Even if I see you, I will say the same thing. But, to be frank, Devi Sri Prasad is not only a good music director, he is a good artiste, very good son of a very good writer. He is versatile. Working for Ready was like enjoying a picnic thanks to the hospitality of Ravi Kishore.”

Kota Srinivasa Rao compared Devi Sri Prasad with a “Race Horse”. “He is a youthful and multi-talented music director.”

Siri Vennela Seetarama Sastry said: “Devi Sri Prasad is commendable for his compositions which exactly suit the lyrics. I also appreciate Hari Rama Jogaiah for his scholarship in both Telugu and Kannada.”

Hari Rama Jogaiah said: “For all my self-confidence, I owe it to my guru Seetarama Sastry. Tomorrow is his birthday. I am dedicating the four lyrics that I penned for this film to him, with all my humility.”

Music director Devi Sri Prasad said: “I am thankful to Seenu Vytla for imposing unblemished trust and confidence in my work. He not only gave me liberty but encouraged me a lot, which enhanced my sense of responsibility. This showed his real affection for me, though I couldn’t do two of his films, despite his repeated requests earlier.” Devi sang one of the numbers with his typical style of producing sounds through mouth.

NTR said: “Seenu Vytla has come out with a project bubbling with wonderful comedy and heroism. Ram is a powerhouse of performance. His dances would sure rock. I hope the film will get wades of currency to Ravi Kishore. I look forward to join the 100 days function of Ready.” NTR further said: “Devi, whenever I see you, I see a Bappila Hari in you sans gold chains. Take it not as a comment, but as compliment.”

Vishnu said: “I was thrilled to watch the performance of Ram in Devdas. I am sure this film would become a big hit.” Vishnu further complimented Seetarama Sastry for his meaningful lyrics. “A lyric of you make me recall my college days.”

Highlight of the function is that the unit members and guests collectively wished NTR, Seetarama Sastry, and Manoj Kumar Manchu – Many happy returns of the day in advance, as they are set to celebrate the occasion tomorrow (May 20).
