The audio of Venkatesh's latest film 'Vasantham' was released today at a set erected at Rama Naidu studios. This function was organzed in a simple way. A lucky dip was chosen from the list of press and three lucky people (Nagaraj of MAA TV, Venkat of Chitranjali and Venkat of Camera) released the audiocassette of 'Vasantham'.

Speaking to the press on this occasion, Venkatesh said that the audio of Vasantham consists of melodious music and pleasant lyrics. He also mentioned that it's been a long time since he has done a family-oriented film. He said that people have been asking him to do films like 'Raja'. He said that this film has an interesting point. His character in Vasantham would be loved by the crowds as they identify themselves with the hero character in Vasantham. Venky also categorically mentioned that the script of the film is the hero. He said that his films like Dharmachakram and Preminchukundam Raa were shot in never-before foreign locales. Likewise, Vasantham is also the first Indian film to be shot in Greece.

The director Vikraman said that 'Vasantham' is a pleasant film of HAHK (Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun) and DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge) genre. The hero character in this film is projected in a different way. The same film is being simultaneously made in Tamil with Madhavan as hero. Vikraman said that both Tamil and Telugu versions would be released on 10th July 2003.

Music director SA Raj Kumar said that he made his debut in films as music director with Pudu Vasantham directed by Vikraman 13 years back. He said that this is his 6th film with Venky. He also mentioned that 5 tunes are same in both Tamil and Telugu audio albums.
