Music launch of Taraka Ratna’s latest film Venkatadri was held at a function organized in Ravi Narayana Reddy auditorium in Jubilee hills on the night of 9 February. This function is graced by Bala Krishna, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, Smt. Purandeswari, Jaya Sankara Krishna, Janaki Ram, Kalyan Ram, Srikanth Deva and Ranganadh.

Bala Krishna launched the audiocassette and gave the first unit to Smt. Purandheswari. Smt. Purandheswari launched the audio CD and gave the first unit to Bala Krishna.

Speaking on the occasion Bala Krishna said, “Music plays a vital role in film’s success after story and dialogues. There is one song in this film which is adapted from NTR’s films. I feel that all the songs in this film are as per the situations. I wish this film a good success.”

Smt Purandheswari said, “My father’s birth gave a new pride and self-esteem to the Telugu people around the globe. People used to pray to Lord Rama and Lord Krishna using the paintings done by Ravi Varma. After my father donned these great roles, people started NTR as the image of the lords. NTR is the comprehensive definition to acting. He shown us a path and kept a responsibility on our next generation. It is our responsibility on Nandamuri next generations to live up to the standards of NTR. I wish that my brothers and nephews will reach the pinnacle achieved by my father NTR.”

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao said, “I produced a film titled Satyam Sivam with NTR and ANR in the main leads 30 years back. Bala Krishna used to be a small boy at the time of my wedding. He did excellent acting in recently released Pandurangadu film. I am wishing Venkatadri film a good success.”

Kalyan Ram said, “When my uncle Venkateswara Rao did Satyam Sivam, there was only one Nandamuri hero NTR. Right now there are five heroes of Nandamuri. He should make film by featuring five of us heroes. The promos of Venkatadri are like those of Narasimha Naidu and Simhadri. I wish this film a big success.”
