The audio function of Manchu Vishnu Vardhan Babu's debut film 'Vishnu' was organized among great fanfare on the evening of 29th August 2003 at a set erected in Annapurna Studios. The guest list who made it the function includes judicial experts (Justice Raghuram, Justice Chalameswar, Justice Ramana), politicians (T Subbirami Reddy, Kambhampati Hari Babu, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Devineni Nehru, Tiger Narendra), directors (Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao, Ravi Raja Pinisetty, B Gopal, Boyina Subba Rao, A Kodandarami Reddy, Muppalaneni Siva, N Shankar, Samudra and Om Sai Prakash), producers (Dr. Rama Naidu, Aswini Dutt, Raasi Narasimha Rao, MS Reddy), youth heroes (Allu Arjun & Aryan Rajesh) and other actors (Allu Ramalingaiah, Murali Mohan Rao, Kantha Rao, Balayya, Brahmanandam, Giri Babu, Ali, Siva Reddy).

The judicial officers and other officers unveiled each of the song in this film and presented them to the political bigwigs. The 1st cassette is presented by Dasari Narayana Rao to K Raghavendra Rao. Nirmal Zhaveri and Kishore Bajaj bought the audio cassette each for Rs 1000/-.

Speaking on this occasion, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said that Mohan Babu came to his home in 1991 on one midnight. Mohan Babu told Gopala Krishna that he then was started believing that he has become a regular commercial hero with the hit of 'Assembly Rowdy' film. Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said that it took 400 odd films to believe in himself that he was a hero material. But Vishnu has got to the same position with the first film itself.

Dasari said that Mohan Babu is in the league of 'vishistha natulu' category that boasts of performers like SV Ranga Rao, CS Anjaneyulu, Allu Ramalingaiah, Savitri and Suryakantham. Dasari also said that Mohan Babu is only next to legend NTR in dialogue delivery department. Dasari also complimented that Mohan Babu is next to NTR and ANR when it comes to discipline. Dasari cautioned Vishnu that he should give the due respect to the directors and producers. He said that hero is never greater than the producer and the director.

Mohan Babu thanked K Raghavendra Rao for directing Alludugaru film in 31st and for giving me memorable hits. He mentioned that all four films (Assembly Rowdy, Brahma, Collector Garu & Adavilo Anna) directed by B Gopal for Mohan Babu were big hits. He thanked Ravi Raja Pinisetty for giving him an industry record hit in terms of 'Pedda Rayudu'. He also remarked that though A Kodandarami Reddy directed few films for never, non even a single film has become a hit.

Mohan Babu justified appointing malayali director Shazi Kailas as the director of 'Vishnu' by saying that if Vishnu had to work with Telugu directors in the first project, they would not be strict with Vishnu.

Music director Ismail Durbar said that he was not comfortable working in South Indian films. However his perception changed after working for the film 'Vishnu'.

Tanikella Bharani and Suma anchored the events. Vadde Nageswara Rao - from Vizag - has performed ventriloquism and entertained the crowds. Ghazal Srinivas renders his ghazals. Gangadhar performed a song. This audio would be released in market by Aditya music.
