Kingfisher - MAA TV Superstar selections for Hyderabad region were held at Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Hyderabad on the night of 15 December. 18 members participated in this event. Teja, Dil Raju and Paruchuri Gopala Krishna acted as judges. The four winners selected were Trinetrudu, Sushma, Devi Prasad and Bala Murali Krishna.

Udaya Bhanu anchored this event. Additional entertainment dance performances were done by Udaya Bhanu, Satya, Narayana and Bombay girl Nasima.
