Kalamandir Foundation launches “SUPER STARS ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN 2011”

Kalamandir Foundation, the Trust formed under the able guidance of Kalamandir Management is looking forward to serve the needy in the society. Promoted by Kalamandir, the foundation offers the promise of a better tomorrow, through it service projects.

The objective of Kalamandir Foundation is to help all the needy in the society in whatever way could be possible. During yester years, they have been piloting the service by lending their helping hand to NGOs’, in all possible ways and had witnessed many lives changed for better. Through creating opportunities and working towards a more equitable society, Kalamandir Foundation has made small, but effective strides in rebuilding humanity.

As part of its 1st anniversary on 7th July, Kalamandir kalyan says Foundation has initiated the “SUPER STAR ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN 2011”. This initiative is being endorsed by celebrities of Tollywood, Kollywood & Mollywood. The list of celebrities includes Ravi Teja, Vikram, Mammootty, Ambareesh, Lakshmi Manchu, Prakash Raj, Samantha, Mamta Mohandas, Allari Naresh, Puri Jaganath, Krish, Rock line Venkatesh, Upendra, krish, devakata, sukumar, sandeep ,tapsee and others who are coming together to raise their voice against drugs.


This is a unique initiative in Andhra Pradesh by Kalamandir Foundation and it is attracting many other celebrities in the cine circuit to be a part of it. According to a report, there are nearly 70million drug users in the country and nearly 5000 people below 21 years die due to drug overdose each year. With drug abuse becoming rampant, the foundation has decided to create awareness regarding the same. With drug abuse leading to HIV, Cancer and other criminal acts, this step by the foundation is being hailed by the cine folks.
