On this occasion, a musical night was held under the baton of music director Sri with the likes of Smita, Rajesh and Gopika Poornima singing various songs from Telugu musical hit films.

The other guests who were present at the occasion were Minister for information S Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Minister for Home and Cinematography T Devendar Goud, Raj brothers, K Raghavendra Rao and Dasari Narayana Rao.

CM Chandra Babu Naidu said that AP has been the forerunner in all areas and technologies. He said that he would give all the co-operation if Vissa channel produces straight Telugu serials. He also said that AP has so much of talent and resources that it can even offer facilities for Tamil channels to producer Tamil TV serials in Hyderabad. As reciprocation to Dasari's advice, Naidu added that Dasari would be available to direct TV serials.
