A new Telugu film magazine called 'Studio Roundup'
was launched by Mogalturu heroes' Krishnamraju and
Chiranjeevi on 27th July at a function organized at
Film Chamber. Vinayaka Rao who has experience in film
journalism for the past 20 years is the editor and
publisher of this film magazine. The first issue has
52 pages with a Chiranjeevi cover page. Raja Sekhar,
Jeevitha and Aryan Rajesh also attended this function.
Chiranjeevi
said a couple of incidents in which the reviews of
Telugu film critics which improved him to better his
histrionics. In one such review, a reviewer suggested
Chiranjeevi to slow down his dialogue delivery as
he is missing clarity when speaking fast. And Chiranjeevi
followed that suggestion improved his dialogue delivery.
In another review, another critic complimented that
Chiranjeevi was dancing as good as the professional
dancer. But it is not making him unique. He needs
to have his own style in dances so as to make him
appear different than the group dancers who are dancing
behind him. That suggestion made Chiranjeevi hone
a unique style and body language in the dances that
made him a dancing sensation in Telugu film industry.
Chiranjeevi
complimented the Telugu film journalists for the good
role they are playing. And he wished that 'Studio
Round-up' would reach greater heights in circulation.
Chiranjeevi
always had special relationship with journalists.
He released other Telugu film magazines like Santosham
and Cine Star in the past two years.
Krishnam
Raju praised the role of Telugu film journalists play
in development of Telugu film journalism. The journalists
who spoke on this occasion include Kondeti Suresh,
Vijaya Rao, Jagan, Giridhar, Sarath and Murali. Journalist
Prabhu anchored this event.
