EVV Satyanarayana is back with Athili Sathibabu LKG after delivering a hit with his son Naresh with Kithakithalu last year. Muhurat of this film was held on 1st January 2006 at a house set in Ramoji Film City. Raghubabu and Sunil are playing elder brothers of Naresh. Sheetal and Kausha are doing female leads.

Aryan Rajesh sounded the clapboard and Mayuri Sudhakar switched on the camera.

Speaking on the occasion EVV said, “This is 7th film on EVV cinema banner. We worked over this script for 8 months and prepared 17 versions. If Appula Appa Rao is an expert at securing loans, Athili Sattibabu is an expect at giving loans at exorbitant interest rates. There are 35 comedians in this film. We will shoot some part of it in RFC and remaining part in Rajahmundry. Three songs will be canned abroad. We are aiming for 6 April release.”
