Popular music director Vandemataram Srinivas is making his debut as film director now. He is making a film titled Badmash by introducing Naga Siddhardha and Ekta as main leads. Muhurat of this movie was held at Annapurna studios on the morning of 30 November. Pokuri Babu Rao and Murali Mohan unveiled the logo of the movie. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu sounded the clapboard and Gopichand switched on the camera.

Vandemataram said, “It was Madala Ranga Rao who introduced me as a playback singer in movies. R Narayana Murthy introduced as a music director. Dr. G Nagayya is introducing me as a director. This film will be contemporary in terms of story line and taking. It will be a turning point to my career. Hero’s character starts off negatively and will turn into positive mode as the movie progresses.”

Hero Naga Siddhardha said that he is basically a software engineer and he got trained as Vizag Satyanand.

The regular shooting will start on 7 December and shooting part will be wrapped up in a month. Badmash will be releasing on 14 February on the eve of Valentine’s day.
