AM Ratnam who delivered one of the biggest blockbusters of Telugu cinema 'Kushi' in the combination of Pawan Kalyan has teamed up with Pawan again to make a film titled 'Bangaram' in the direction of a successful Tamil director Dharani (of Dhool fame).

Muhurat of this film was held in Annapurna studios today afternoon at 1 pm. Celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, K Raghavendra Rao, Tamil Star Vijay, Uday Kiran, Allu Arjun, Trisha, Sonia Agarwal, Vijayabapineedu, Raju(of Dil fame), Allu Aravind, Krishna prasad(of Sridevi Movies), YVS Chowdary, MS Raju, Sivaraju, Karunakaran, Chandrabose & Rajamouli.

Producer AM Ratnam said that 'Bangaram' is a film packed with entertainment with family drama. Like his earlier film Kushi's title, Bangaram too is positive and has a refreshing feel. This film would have rich visuals. The shooting of Bangaram would start after Pawan Kalyan complete the two projects he has on the floor now. The details of cast and crew would be made available later. AM Ratnam also said "Kalyan tho work cheyyatam bangaram laa bhavistunnanu".

Dharani - who directed Tamil blockbuster Dhool - is directing this film. He said that Bangaram would be of 24 carat gold quality. Pawan Kalyan is doing a happy-go-lucky guy character in this film, which would have all ingredients to become superhit. This film is an action film with comedy touch.

Pawan Kalyan - who prefers not to attend and speak at pressmeets - has decided to speak a few words to press this time. He said that he is doing a film with AM Ratnam for second time because the storyline is impressive. He also said that he has the confidence on the capabilities of director Dharani. He said that Gundumba Shankar and Columbus are the titles under consideration for Anjana banner and Vyjayanti banner respectively.
