Mani
Ratnam descended to Hyderabad to do honors for the
muhurat of Chukkallo Chandrudu that involves two of
his protégés - Siddardha (hero) and
Siva Kumar (debutant director). Alexander Vallabha
(son of KS Rama Rao) is producing this film on Creative
Commercials banner. ANR, Waheeda Rehman, Siddardh,
Charmme, Sada and Saloni play the main leads in this
film. KS Rama Rao presents Chukkallo Chandrudu.
Muhurat
of this film was held at State Art Gallery in Madapur
on the morning of 24th August. Mani Ratnam sounded
the clapboard. ANR switched on the camera and K Raghavendra
Rao directed the first shot.
14th
January release - KS Rama Rao
Presenter KS Rama Rao said, "Chukkallo Chandrudu
is the latest film on Creative Commercials banner
after Vasu film. Siva Kumar and Siddardha worked as
first and second associates respectively for Mani
Ratnam's films. Siddardha is providing story for this
film. Siddardha, Siva Kumar and Kona Venkat weaved
screenplay together. Kona Venkat is known for urban
orientation in his dialogues. When Siva Kumar narrated
the script to ANR, he was very impressed and shown
amazing interest on this project. Waheeda Rehman who
acted as sister to ANR decades back is paired up with
ANR in this film. Chakri has already provided two
tunes so far. A couple of songs and a few vital scenes
of this film would be canned in Swiss. Abhik Mukhopadyaya
who worked for Bollywood films like Raincoat and Bunty
Aur Babli is making his debut as cinematographer through
this film. This film is an energetic youth techno
flick. Shooting of this film would be completed by
10th December. We are aiming for the release on 14th
January 2006."
Took
7 months gap for the right script - Siddardha
Siddardh (NVNV fame) said, "This is my second
straight film in Telugu. I would like to thank audiences
for making NVNV such a big hit. I wanted to do a good
film. I took a break of 7 months after the release
of NVNV as I waited for the right script. Creative
Commercials has got talented team. Legends like ANR,
K Raghavendra Rao and Mani Ratnam blessed the occasion.
Script of this film has come out really well and we
will reach the expectations of the movie lovers. I
will put 250% efforts in my work and results would
depend on audiences."
Heroines
are like vital characters in this film - Alexander

Producer Vallabha added, "This is my first film
as producer. Siddardha came up with the story and
proposal. ANR's role is very crucial for the film
and for the Siddardha character in this film. There
are three heroines in this film. All these heroines
have vital roles to play in script."
Director
Siva said that he is excited and feeling responsible
for handling such a crazy product. Dialogue writer
Kona Venkat said that they are trying to break the
routine mould with this film. He is praises for the
multifaceted talent Hero Siddardha possess.
