Sai Kumar’s latest bilingual (Telugu and Kannada) Citizen was launched at a function organized in Annapurna studios on the morning of 21 February. Gopinadh Reddy IPS sounded clapboard. Public service commissioner Venkatrami Reddy switched on the camera and Tammareddy Bharadwaja sounded the clapboard.

Director Sai Prakash said, “I directed more than 70 films in Kannada though I am a Telugu guy. Producer CV Reddy gave the story. We started the Kannada version on 26 January. This film will be shot extensively in Rayalaseema. This film is about story of a citizen”

Hero Sai Kumar said, “This is my 75th film in Telugu and 50th film in Kannada. I liked the title and I am doing the role of a cop who is not in the uniform. We are planning to a huge climax.”
