A new movie titled "Holidays", starring Bhargavi (Ashta Chemma fame) as solo heroine, is launched today at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The film is made on RCM Cine Chitra banner. Story, screenplay and direction is by SS Kumar. Producer is A. Ramireddy. It stars a debutant Sivanag as hero.

Hotshot director Puri Jagannath clapped the muhurt shot on the lead pair. Popular cinematographer Chota K Naidu did the first shot direction and producer (Ramireddy) switched on the camera.

SS Kumar said: "The film is based on fun concept. It is a pure love story and a youthful entertainer. We are happy to have Bhargavi as the heroine and her performance in Ashta Chemma is welcomed by one and all. Sivanag is the hero. Though he is a debutant, he has big interest in films. The regular shoot will commence from today and will continue till 20th in Hyderabad. The main portion of the shoot will take place at Araku Valley and Vizag and some parts in Palakollu area."

Sivanag, a graphic designer turned debut hero, said that he was very much impressed with the script of director Kumar. I play the student who had just passed out from college. A group of such students go on a journey. What happens in that journey is the crux of the story."

Bhargavi said: "I thank the Telugu audience for their big support to me as one of the heroines in Ashta Chamma. The success of this film is very encouraging to me and I hope to follow through my film career with same zeal. I too play the role of a student who is very innocent in the film."

Ramireddy said: "I am also a politician and businessman. I want to share 25% of the profits on the film equally among the cast and crew of the film."

The cast includes Pingpong (Surya), Adhiti, Prudhvi and Hamsi. Cast includes: Music – Sridhar & Srikanth; Dialogues – Ramaswami; Cinematography – Kalyan Sami.
