JD
Chakri is making his comeback with a film titled 'kaasi'. The
producers who produced JD's film 'Navvutoo Bratakaaliraa' are
producing this film. Muhurat of 'Kaasi' was held on 16th April
at 8:22 am at Annapurna studios. N Sudhakar Reddy (father of hero
Nitin) switched on the camera. Srikanth gave clap. SV Krishna
Reddy directed the first shot.
Producer
Arjun Kumar Reddy and Jayachandra Chowdary, Director Lakshmi Sreenivas,
hero JD, Music director Sri and dialogue writer Rajendra Kumar
participated in the pressmeet.
Speaking
To the press, the producer said that Kaasi is a bad guy in Hyderabad.
But he becomes a good guy when he falls in love. His character
has two contrasting shades and variations. This film has backdrop
of the holy city Kaasi. The hero Kaasi becomes a good guy when
he reaches Kaasi.
The
director Lakshmi Srinivas started his career as an assistant to
Kodi Rama Krishna in 'Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnaiah'. Later
on he worked with the directors like Relangi and SV Krishna Reddy.
He also assisted all the films by Supergood banner from Ninne
Premista film. He said that Kaasi is a film of teamwork.
Music
director Sri said that its his comeback film. 3 songs of the film
are already recorded. He opined that JD Chakri is the perfect
fit for this 'kaasi' character.
JD
Chakravarthy thanked all the team members for choosing himself
as hero. He also thanked Chiranjeevi for sending bouquet to him
through Nagababu.
