Muhurat of EVV’s latest film Kithakithalu was held at the office of EVV Cinema on the morning of 16th January 2006. Maganti Babu sounded the clapboard on Naresh, Brahmanandam & Krishna Bhagawan. Dr. KL Narayana switched on the camera. D Rama Naidu directed the first shot. Ambika Krishna held pooja ceremony.

This song-less film will release on 28th April - EVV
Talking to press EVV said, “Kithakithalu is the sixth film on EVV Cinema banner. This film would be wrapped up in a single schedule that starts today and lasts till 10th March. We are planning to release this film on 28th of April. This film is going to be an out and out comedy entertainer. We worked over this script for 5 months. This film would not have any songs. But we would used 5 old songs as per the situation demand in this film. All the popular comedians of Telugu film industry are acting in Kithakithalu.”

Hero Naresh said, “I regard Aa Okkati Adakku (AOA) as the best film made by my father. Kithakithalu will be like a sequel to AOA.”

Comedian Brahmanandam said that Kithakithalu would become a hit like Srivariki Premalekha.
