Anji Seenu is directing his 3rd film by introducing Hari Varun and Jyothy Krishna as hero and heroine respectively. This film is launched in Annapurna studios on the morning of 17th November. Srihari sounded the clapboard on the lead pair. Bollineni Krishnama Naidu switched on the camera and EVV Satyanarayana directed the first shot.

The guest of honor Srihari said, "I feel that Laila Majnu and Titanic are the great love stories ever made on celluloid. This Laila Majnu is also going to be director's film. Hero Hari Varun is son of my brother Raghutu Surya Narayana. I wish everybody a great success."

Director Anji Seenu said, "This is my 3rd film. I worked on the script for 8 months. Srilekha has already recorded the songs of this film. Laila Majnu is an apt title for the story."

Hero Hari Varun and heroine Jyothy Krishna thanked producer and director for giving them an opportunity.

Talkie part and 3 songs of the film would be completed in a single schedule starting today. This schedule would be completed by 31st of December. Then the unit would be move to abroad to can three songs. This film would be wrapped up by the end of January.
