Muhurat of Jaya’s latest film Sawal with Bharat, Suhani and Vinayak in the main leads was performed on the morning of 23 August at Annapurna studios. K Raghavendra Rao sounded the clapboard, Mahesh Babu switched on camera and Tammareddy Bharadwaja directed the first shot.

Speaking on the occasion Bharat said, “It’s been one year since my first film released. I am lucky get this film. There is mass touch and entertainment aspect to my character. Songs are good. My introduction in this film would be in huge scale.”

Director Jaya said, “I am taking the making of this film as a sawal. We are going to do it on high scale. This film is an action film with ample entertainment. Ghatikachalam and Veligonda Srinivas did good script work. Suhani (Manasantha Nuvve fame) is making her debut as heroine with this film. Bharat is doing action hero role. Vinayak will be doing the negative role. This is music director Jassi Gift’s first direct Telugu film. Regular shooting starts tomorrow. The film will be released in December. I hope that I would get recognition as commercial director with this film.”
