Noted film writer Posani Krishna Murali is turning director with a film titled 'Sravanamasam' (Pellilla Season). He is producing this film on his newly established home banner UP Cinema Lines. This film stars Krishna and Nandamuri Hari Krishna in the main leads. This film has a heavy star cast of 57 artists. A 25 feet x 100 feet huge vinyl banner was kept inside the floor for this function, which stood as the center of attraction.

Muhurat of this film was held at 7:30 am at Annapurna studios on 28th of October. Chandra Babu Naidu unveiled the logo of banner UP Cinema Lines. Chiranjeevi clapped on the leading men. Vijaya Nirmala switched on camera. Lots of celebrities from film industry graced this occasion.

Hero Hari Krishna said that Posani Krishna Murali is technically associated with him since the days of Sitaramaraju and worked as story writer for all most all his films. Hari Krishna remembered the song Vandemataram scored for Hari Krishna in Sreeramulayya film.

Posani Krishna Murali said that he started his career as ghost writer in film industry. He worked as assistant in direction department under B Gopal for Aswardhama film. While working for films he continued his studies and completed M Phil in Chennai. Editor Mohan once offered him a chance to direct a film, which Posani gracefully rejected.

Hari Krishna helped me with 10 lakhs - Posani Krishna Murali
When Posani Krishna Murali wanted to direct the film, he approached Hari Krishna to act as one of the heroes. Hari Krishna offered Rs. 10 lakhs as financial help to Posani Krishna Murali instead of asking him for any remuneration or advance. Posani Krishna Murali did the groundwork for this project with that money and later on financiers helped him to get the film start in full swing.

Posani Krishna Murali said that he has been the fan of Superstar Krishna since his childhood. He is feeling proud to direct Krishna now. He opined that Marudhuri Raja is better equipped to write dialogues for these kind of family oriented comedy films.
