Senior most cinematographer of Telugu cinema VSR Swamy is wielding the megaphone again after a gap of decades to direct Srikanth's film with Arti Agarwal as heroine. A new banner is producing this film on GRKP Films. Muhurat of this film was held at Annapurna studios on the morning of 20th June. G Adiseshagiri Rao sounded the clapboard on the lead pair. Story writer Anjaneya Pushpanand switched on the camera. Veteran producer Doondy directed the first shot.

Speaking on the occasion VSR Swamy said that the film he is making now would show hero Srikanth in new dimension. This film is an action film with fair mix of sentiment. Shooting of the film would start in the next month.

Hero Srikanth said that this film is his first film in the combination of Arti Agarwal. He expressed happiness over working in the direction of senior technician VSR Swamy. He remembered the days of President gari pellam when VSR Swamy used to encourage Srikanth.

Heroine Arti Agarwal said that she is doing a performance oriented role in this film. She worked with VSR Swamy in many films and described him as a father figure.
