Nagesh Naradasi who directed TV serials like Nuvvu Navvu & Chitralekha in the past is directing a devotional film titled ‘Sri Satyanarayana Swamy’. Suman and Pinky Sarkar play the roles of Vishnu and Lakshmi respectively. This film was launched at a function arranged in Ramoji Film City today morning. Senior journalist Pasupuleti Ramana Rao sounded the clapboard and the producer Radha switched on the camera.
Speaking on the occasion director Nagesh said, “We did lot of research and have taken the inputs of temple priests of Annavanam before making the script. Suman is donning nine roles (Brahma, Vishnu, Rama etc) in this film. Though we are making a devotional film, we are making sure that there are ample commercial elements. The first two schedules of this film will be shot in Ramoji Film City.”
Hero Suman said, “I am doing this devotional role after Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu. I am impressed by the noble intention of producer who wants to donate the profits of the film to the temples. Vandemataram has already composed five tracks for this film.”
Mumbai based heroine Pinky Sarkar said that she is happy to do nine roles (Lakshmi, Saraswati, Parvathy, Seeta etc) in the film.
Raj Kumar is doing the role of Narada.
