Superhit Friends banner that produced successful films like Premalo Pavani Kalyan and Chantigadu in the past is producing another film now. Jaya - who made her debut with Chantigadu - is directing this film. The muhurat function was held today morning at a grand style in Rama Naidu Studios. The guests who made it to the occasion include Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Tarun and Vijaya Nirmala.

Chiranjeevi sounded the clap board. Mahesh Babu switched on camera. Vijaya Nirmala directed the first shot. Venkatesh, NTR and Tarun were invited as special guests of honor. The other celebrities who made it to occasion were D Rama Naidu, C Aswini Dutt, MS Raju and B Gopal.

June 2005 release - BA Raju
Speaking on the occasion producer of the film BA Raju said that he is starting this film with 30 debutants in cast and crew departments. Main leads of this film - Yuvaraj, Rishi Girish and Kamini Jetmalani are debutants. It is the first film for the music director Sajan. This storyline has a novel point. Regular shooting of this film starts on 27th of this month. It is a love story with city (Hyderabad and Vizag) backdrop. This film would be released in June 2005.

This film has all original story - Jaya
Director Jaya thanked everybody for showering with awards and rewards for her work in Chantigadu. Chiranjeevi appreciated her work in Chantigadu film. Though she got many offers after Chantigadu, she waited for a year waiting for a novel subject. Chiranjeevi also found the storyline of this film pretty interesting. This story has original elements and it has no traces in any Hollywood or Bollywood film. Jaya cast Kamini as heroine after watching her in a Hindi video. This film would have six songs.

Heroine Kamini Jetmalani said that she is awed by the story of the film and her role impressed a lot. She said that it is a dream come true working for this film. Rishi Girish and Yuvraj thanked the producer and director for casting them.

Feeling proud to work with Jaya - Vijya Sri
Cinematographer Vijaya Sri said that she has been working in film industry for the past 15 years. She worked with all male directors so far and for the first time she is working with a female director. She is feeling very comfortable and proud to be working with Jaya.

Jaya should be complimented for believing in script - D Rama Naidu
Star Producer D Rama Naidu said that Jaya should be appreciated for working with debut artists and delivering hits. He complimented Jaya that her policy of sticking to good story and script in stead of going behind successful heroes would do wonders for her. Jaya was supposed to a do film for Suresh Productions very soon.
