Superstar Krishna’s latest film Surendra (the power of defense) was launched on his birthday on 31 May. MS Vasu produces this film in the direction of DSR Anjaneyulu. D Rama Naidu sounded the clapboard on Krishna. Naresh switched on the camera. Vijaya Nirmala directed the first shot.
This will be my 4th comeback - Krishna
Hero Krishna said, “I am doing a powerful role of a defense lawyer in this film. This is a good subject. I faced failures 3 times and returned to stardom again. This is my fourth failure. I am hoping to comeback fourth time with Surendra film. I will be doing another film on my home banner Vijaya Krishna movies which will be released in the next year.”
Director Anjaneyulu said, “I came to film industry in 1964. I met Krishna for the first time in 1967. My dream of making a film with Krishna came true today with Surendra. The story of this film is about taking the sting out of criminals to make them rehabilitated human beings.”
Daring Hero award on Krishna birthday - Haranadh Policharla
Hero Haranadh Policherla (of Alex fame) announced, “Krishna became attraction of our film Chandrahas by donning the role of Chatrapati Sivaji. I am going to incorporate the ‘daring hero’ award on Krishna name and present it to the able hero every year on Krishna birthday.” |
