Tarun took a healthy break of 2 months before embarking on his new project in the direction of Jayant C Paranji. Muhurat of this film was held at Rama Naidu studios on 28th January 2004. Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao clapped on Tarun. Dr. Rama Naidu switched on the camera.

Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao said that Tarun is playing the boy who graduated BSc, who belongs to a middle class family. He is the youngest among the three sons of that family. Story writer Deenaraj said that this is a love story between an intelligent guy and innocent girl.

Jayant said that he is excited by the script and he has been trying to make a film with Tarun as hero from 2000 onwards. Jayant also said that it is exciting to do a love story after a gap of almost 4 years. He referred to the producers as gentlemen.

Hero Tarun said that the producers are his family friends and they knew his parents for the past 10 years. Tarun said that Paruchuri brothers worked for 'Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu' in the past and it went on to become a blockbuster. Now he is looking forward to see another blockbuster in their combination. Tarun said that its refreshing to take a break of 2 months before starting this project.

Producer Kumar said that the film is going to floors on 29th of this month and the first schedule would continue till 10th February. The second schedule starts on 1st March and ends on 10th March. 3rd schedule starts on 1st of April and ends on 10th of April. 4th schedule starts on 15th of May and would be continued till the end of film. The unit would travel to New Zealand for shooting of songs and a few scenes in May 2004.
