Chandu who directed films like 10th class and Notebook is directing a film titled Vesavi Selavullo. Muhurat of this film was held at Annapurna Studios. Surender Reddy and Bellamkonda Suresh switched on the camera. VV Vinayak sounded the clapboard and Seenu Vytla directed the first shot.

Director Chandu said, “My debut film 10th Class was a hit, the subsequent film Notebook was a flop. I realized my faults, took two years of gap to prepare this story. The story is about two friends who met during summer holiday. It is about friendship blossoming into love. Kanthi – son of Vizag distributor Kranthi Reddy – is making his debut as hero. I am introducing new music director and writer with this film. Regular shooting will start from 7 January.”

Guest Bommarillu Bhaskar said that he knows distributed Kranthi Reddy well and wished that this film would become a success.

Actor Kanthi said that he got trained at Vizag Satyanand.

Lyricist Vanamali said, “This film would be like enjoying the summer holidays. Chandu’s taking in the film will be good. Chandu introduced Micky J Meyer with 10th class and now he is introducing a new guy Praveen. I penned lyrics for 10th class and my introduction to Micky changed my career altogether as I got big break with Happy Days.”
