Production No. 46 of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner with Mohan Babu and Vishnu doing competitive roles was launched on the morning of 29th April at the residence of Mohan Babu’s guru Dasari Narayana Rao. Sobhana and Parvati Melton are doing female leads. Dasari sounded the clapboard. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad switched on camera and Muthyala Subbaiah directed the first shot.

Mohan Babu said, “Ram Prasad who worked as co-director in our banner in the past is directing this film. We (Mohan Babu and Vishnu) are doing roles that compete with each other. I am doing a very good role after long gap. Sobhana plays my wife where as Parvathy Melton is paired up with Vishnu. Jasa Sridhar is giving good tunes. We are starting the shoot today and continue for 2 days. The next schedule will start on 10th May. This film will be shot in a continuous single schedule.”

Vishnu expressed his happiness over working with his father for the first time in a full length role. Director Ram Prasad said that he would direct this film with dedication and sincerity. Heroine Parvati Melton said that this is her second film after Vennela. She expressed her happiness over working with such a prestigious banner.
