Press meet of Jagapati Babu’s latest film Adhineta was held in Jubilee Hills on 3 February. Jagapati Babu, Neelima, Paruchuri and Samudra attended this press meet –

Common man becoming the CM – Paruchuri Gopala Krishna
Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said, “It is a complete political film where a common man goes on to become the chief minister. The inspiration for this story is our ex-CM T Anjaiah who became chief minister of Andhra Pradesh after starting his career as a coolie. Jagapati Babu is playing the role of an ideal political leader. We penned hit political flicks like Eenadu and Naa Desam in the past. This movie is not aimed at any political party, but will show how ideally the politicians should act.”

My first political film – Jagapati Babu
Jagapati Babu said, “This is my first political film. It will have both entertainment and heroism. Samudra is a hard working director. We did Sivaramaraju in the past and it was a hit. Paruchuri brothers penned some hard hitting mass dialogues for me. It was Victory Madhusudhan who introduced me to silver screen and I am happy that his granddaughter Neelima is making her Telugu debut with me in Adhineta.”

Wild and violent performance by Jagapati Babu - Samudra
Director Samudra said, “Adhineta will be a mile stone in my career. I have done six films with Paruchuri brothers and five were hits. This film has good story and good message. Jagapati Babu is giving wild and violent performance in this film. I am introducing Bangalore action director Different Danny in Telugu with this film. We are planning to release the film before elections. We shot a couple songs and a few scenes on Jagapati Babu and Sraddha Das in Bhadrachalam.”

Actress Neelima said, “I am currently doing two Tamil films as heroine. I am doing a small yet vital character in Adhineta. All the unit members are treating me with special preference because I am the granddaughter of Victory Madhusudhan.”

Producer Radha Mohan said, “We started the shooting of the film on 17 January. We are planning to release it by the second week of April. Adhineta film will give new image to Jagapati Babu.”

Presenter S Ravi said, “I realized that Jagapati Babu is a nice human being after working with him. Adhineta is being produced by a great team. This film talks about the leadership qualities in politics.”
