Press meet of Ram Gopal Varma’s latest Telugu production Aavaham was held at Hyderabad. This film is the sequel of Hindi blockbuster Phoonk. Milind is directing this movie. Prasanth Burra and P Chandrasekhar (Sarath Movies and Z3 Pictures) are jointly producing this movie.

Ram Gopal Varma said, “This is the sequel of Phoonk and you can watch this movie even though you didn’t watch Phoonk because fear is a universal emotion. Stephen King – the greatest fiction writer has written that a person who dies with a strong unfulfilled wish will comeback as ghost. We used that concept in this movie. We have shown how a ghost destroyed a happy family. There is a notion in our films that ghost wears white saree. We went against the format and used orange color zaree saree. We are also coming up with a contest. Whoever watched this movie alone in a theatre without any fear will get a prize. We are going to use ECG machine to monitor if that person evinced fear or not.”
