Madan who made debut with Pellaina Kothalo is directing a film titled Gunde Jhallumandi with Uday Kiran and Aditi Sharma in the main leads. Paruchuri Sivarama Krishna produces this film.

Speaking on the occasion producer Paruchuri Sivarama Prasad said, “We did the muhurat of this film on 3 December. We completed 95% of the shooting by now. I met Madan after watching Aa Naluguru and Pellaina Kothalo. When I wanted to make a college story, Madan narrated this script to me. Since this film has lots of importance for music, we went for MM Keeravani. Keeravani read the script before accepting the project.”

Director Madan said, “This film does not have any social message like my earlier works. I prepared this script from different point of view. The title itself speaks about the feelings we dealt in the film. It is a feel good film. The innocence among us is reflected in the lead characters of the film. MM Keeravani’s music is a great asset. He involved in the story of the film as well. I worked in the direction department for Uday Kiran’s Manasantha Nuvve. You can see a lot of improvement in the work of Uday Kiran in this film. Chaitanya Prasad penned lyrics the way I wanted them to be. Producer gave me lot of freedom.”

Music director Keeravani said, “I worked for over 200 films so far. There could be 25 films for which I took the songs to my home and listened there to enjoy them. Gunde Jhallumandi belongs to that list. Madan is equally good at writing and directing. I am scoring for the first time to an Uday Kiran’s film. I had some tunes reserved for him in the past and I used those tunes for this film.”

Uday Kiran said, “I am doing the role of a college student. There is lot of scope for performance in this film. It is a thrilling experience to work in Keeravani music direction. Madan is doing excellent job. I am confident of commercial success of the film.”
