Telugu film industry has completed 75 glorious years. On this eve, industry is conducting Telugu cinema vajrostavam in huge scale on 26, 27 and 28 of January in Novotel Hotel (HITEX, Madapur). A song is being canned on all popular heroes and heroines of Telugu cinema now. The film industry arranged a press meet on this eve.
Producer D Rama Naidu said, “Everybody is contributing a lot and working hard to make this function success. K Raghavendra Rao is overseeing the shooting of song. Krishna Vamsi is directing it. Prabhudeva provides choreography and Suddala Ashok Teja penned lyrics.”
Actor Nagarjuna said, “This 75 years function is very special to me because my father ANR is associated with the industry for 65 years. I completed 25 years. I am very excited about doing this song. We are not getting any multi starrers in Telugu. I am very happy that all heroes joined together to do this song. Telugu film industry is the second film industry in India to complete 75 years (Bollywood was the first). Even Hindi film industry did not celebrate it by holding a function. It is our responsibility to make this event a memorable one.”
Actor Chiranjeevi said, “Cinema has become an integral part of Andhra culture. This 75 years celebration would give us an opportunity to thank cine kalama talli for making us what we are today. This song is based on unity and it goes like – we are one and we will be one’. This song would be unveiled to the crowd in the closing ceremony on 28 January. We will all be there live for this song. This function will be a platform for Telugu film industry to show its stamina nationwide. When I visited Goa film festival, I realized that they do not hold Telugu cinema in high esteem. I hope that this function will prove the Telugu cinema’s pride at national level.”
