Indraganti Mohana Krishna who won national award for his art film Grahanam is currently directing a commercial film titled Maya Bazaar with Raja and Bhumika Chawla in the main leads. SP Bala Subramanyam is doing a vital role in this film. Satyanarayana Reddy who produced Missamma on Satyam Entertainments banner is producing this film. Shooting of the film is currently going on in White House at Dilshuk Nagar, Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion producer Satyanaranaya said, “Today is the last day of talkie part of the film. The remaining three songs would be canned in Kerala from 24th of this month.”
Director Mohana Krishna Indraganti said, “Maya Bazaar is totally different from my debut film Grahanam. It is a good experience to direct a legend like SP Bala Subramanyam. I am doing this film will dedication as I feel that it is lucky chance for me to direct a commercial film after making a mark for myself as art film director.”
Hero Raja said, “Maya Bazaar will remain as good film in my career. Mohana Krishna is doing this project with lot of dedication. I never played this kind of excellent role in my career spanning five years. Songs of this film are like paintings.”
Maya Bazaar is going to be 100 days film - SP Bala Subramanyam
SP Bala Subramanyam said, “The story of this film is good. I did 65 films as an actor, but I have rarely seen a director like Mohana Krishna who has so much of clarity about what he want. He came up with a bound script to me. I am doing a meaningful role in this film after Pavitra Bandham. When K Viswanath asked me to sing for Sankarabharam, I avoided it initially as I was not confident of my classical singing abilities. Likewise, I ejected this role as I was not confident. But it was the perseverance of producer Satyam that made me do this wonderful role. I also sang two songs for this film out of which one is going to be my career best. Baby Harshita is doing pivotal character in this film. The entire story revolves around that small baby. This film is going to be a 100 days film if not 175 days film.”
Tanikella Bharani said that Maya Bazaar is a classic and this film can only enhance the reputation of the old classic.
Hero Bhumika Chawla said, “Maya Bazaar is my second film with Satyam Entertainments. This film is going to be pure, honest and clean. I am enjoying doing this film.”
Dharmavarapu, Bangalore Padma, Ali and Jayalalitha also spoke during this occasion.
