Hollywood stunt directors Tim Storms and Bob are working for a Telugu film titled ‘Nenu Meeku Telusa?’ with Manoj in the main lead. Adman Ajay Sastri is making his debut as director with this film. The unit has arranged a press meet today at 7 acres of Annapurna where stunts are being canned. Here are the excerpts –

Talkie part over - Manoj
Speaking on the occasion actor Manoj said, “The talkie part of the film is complete. We will go to Bangkok and Australia to shoot songs of the film. Tim Storms and Bob were my seniors when I learnt about acting and stunts in LA. When I requested them to work for my films, they obliged. I would like to thank them for coming all the way to here to help me out.”

Manoj executes stunts very fast - Bob
Stunt director Bob said, “I like the speed and energy in Manoj’s stunts. And I am also floored by the respect shown by the crewmembers on us. It is very flattering. We composed very difficult stunts for Manoj in this film. These stunts do need rehearsals for around 7 days. But Manoj could execute them very fast.”

Manoj had a few narrow escapes – Tim Storms
Another stunt director Tim Storms said, “I worked for films like Swordfish, Spiderman 2 and Cradle 2 the Grave. It is a thrilling experience to work here. In Hollywood, we used to do lot of homework before going to sets. But here we need to do it spontaneously. Manoj had narrow escapes in the film while doing some dare devil stunts.”

We are reusing an Ilayaraja song – Ajay Sastri
Director Ajay Sastri said, “Tim and Bob were supposed to work for 24 days. But they finished it in 10 days by doing 18 call sheets (10 days and 8 night shifts). We shot stunts and chase sequences in three live locations in and around Hyderabad. It was an amazing experience to work with Hollywood stuntmen Tim Storms and Bob. Tim Storms is also an actor. He acted as the doctor who prepares villain in Spiderman 2. Ilayaraja granted us permission to reuse of his old iconic song. We are going to reveal the details in a week.”
