Tamil hit film Sandakozhi was dubbed and released in Telugu as Pandem Kodi. This film completed 50 days now and going well in all centers. Producer GK Reddy met the press today to share his happiness. Here are the excepts of his meet.

About GK Reddy:
GK Reddy is a Chennai based businessman and industrialist. He produced films like SP Parasuram and M Dharmaraju MA with Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu respectively. His son Vishal tasted success in Tamil film industry as hero and at present he has more than six attractive projects in hand. Though his first dubbed film ‘Prema Chadarangam’ did not make money in Telugu, Pandemkodi is doing good.

Pandem Kodi success:
This film was dubbed with a cost of 70 lacs. Though there are buyers for this film, GK Reddy wanted to make sure that his son’s film can be promoted well. He released this film on his own. NV Prasad released this film in Ceded on behalf of GK Reddy. This film is released in Andhra and Nizam through Mayuri Film Distributors. This film was released with 30 prints. The prints number reached to 72 today. And 30 more prints will be added in the next two weeks. This film collected around a share of 1.5 crores so far.

Hyderabad scene:
This film is released in Venkatesa (Narayanaguda) in the beginning and then shifted to Devi 70mm (RTC X Roads) later. This film is running with packed houses in the weekend and 80% collections in weekdays at Devi. Due to prior agreement of theater owner, this film is going to be shifted to Sandhya from 13th onwards as NTR’s Ashok is releasing in Devi. This film was released in mass center Lakshmikala (Moosapet) and ran for 50 days.

GK Reddy to dub all his son’s films:
GK Reddy is making sure that he dubs all Tamil successful films of Vishal in Telugu so that quality and promotion is taken care of. Vishal is making it a point to all his Tamil producers that they should not sell Telugu remake rights to any producer other than his father. Vishal is currently acting in a Tamil film titled Thimmiri which is due for the release on 4th of August. This film will be dubbed and released as Pogaru at a later point of time.

Vishal to do a straight Telugu film:
GK Reddy also said that Vishal will be acting in a straight Telugu film in the next year and it would be directed by one of the top three directors of Telugu cinema.

Raghu Kunche who sang all songs in Pandem Kodi thanked audience for making this film such a good hit.
