Music of Pandurangadu is dedicated to TV Raju – MM Keeravani
Speaking on the occasion music director MM Keeravani said, “I was born and brought up in Kovvur. And I grew up listening to classic songs like Sri Krishna Mukunda Murari. Incidentally TV Raju who composed music for Panduranga Mahatyam was also born in Kovvur. There will be 16 songs in Pandurangadu. I would like to dedicate the music of this film to TV Raju.”
I leant a lot from K Raghavendra Rao – K Viswanath
Veteran actor and director K Viswanath said, “I worked with K Raghavendra Rao for the first time and I am very much impressed by his working style. He does not take any pressure and keeps congenial atmosphere on the sets. I learnt a lot from him and I am going implement his working style in my future films. K Raghavendra Rao is a meticulous director.”
It’s a challenging task to make Pandurangadu – Bala Krishna
Bala Krishna Nandamuri said, “I acted in Apoorva Sahodarulu - the first venture of K Raghavendra Rao as producer. I am happy to work in this banner again. Pandurangadu is a more challenging project for K Raghavendra Rao than Sri Ramadasu and Annamayya as Panduranga Mahatyam would be kept as yardstick to this film. K Raghavendra Rao is known for his Midas touch when it comes to devotional epics. The basic story is inspired by an incident happened in Maharashtra. Pandurangadu is a result of perfect teamwork.”
Music launch on 27 April – JK Bharavi
