RR Moviemakers that produced films like Hungama, Mayajalam, Samanyudu in the past is currently dubbing the Telugu version of Sai Kumar’s Kannada film ‘Police Story 2’. Logo of this film was unveiled at a function organized in Film Nagar Cultural Club on the morning of 10 January 2007.
Presented Achi Reddy said, “Telugu audiences have encouraged films like Hungama and Samanyudu from RR Moviemakers banner. We are also producing Police Story 2 – a sequel of Sai Kumar’s blockbuster Police Story. We are releasing this film through Suresh Movie Distributors throughout AP.”
Character actress Sana said that she is doing a powerful role of Godmother in this film. Actor GV said that he did a role of four different shades that does not need any fights or action sequences.
Hero Sai Kumar said, “My blockbuster Police Story was released on 1996. It made me an action hero overnight. We made sure that the story and treatment of Police Story 2 is new and up-to-date. Though Police story attracted masses, we are taking precautions so that the sequel will appeal to all classes. Hero introduction, interval block and climax episodes are going to be highlights. We are getting graphics work done in Soundarya Rajnikant’s Studio. RP Patnaik is doing rerecording. There is only one song in this film. This film is going to be released by Kalaipuli Thanu in Tamil.”
